The Oil Technologists' Association of India held the 1st International conference as ASDC during March 13-16, 2005 at Hotel Taj Exotica, South Goa. Its great success and excellent feedback from the participants for continuing this international event have emboldened us to confidently organize the 2nd RSDC Conference on a grand scale, thus institutionalizing the event With the whole-hearted support from you all, we will make this RSDC international conference a regular periodic feature, enabling the participants to network effectively, update their knowledge about the latest global developments in their respective fields as well as enhancing their contributions to the growth of their businesses in this region and also other parts of the world.

During the past few years, the soaps, detergents and cosmetics industry has undergone significant changes due to new business models, new technologies, as well as new environmental and regulatory issues. During this second RSDC conference, experts in various fields will present their analyses and views about the trends to come in the near future, which will shape these industry sectors. Delegates from thirty countries will participate in this conference, making it a valuable event for the industry sectors. I am sure that attending this conference will add significant value to your businesses.

The timing of this 2nd RSDC International Conference assumes significance as the US economy is coming under pressure and the global economic growth is expected to come from this region, especially from India and China.
